    Default Miserly Monday

    Morning everyone! Happy Labor Day!

I don't know what I'm doing today. SIL and her 2 kids spent the night so we will probably take the kids somewhere to run and get worn out.

I need to do dishes too.

Hope you all have a good day!

Well, today won't be a frugal day at all...dh's car is in getting new brakes and dd needs some clothes.

But the weather is beautiful and I intend to enjoy my day!!

Happy Labor Day! It is definitely labor day here, since I have to work. But, I took yesterday off, so I feel like getting back to it.

I have to get groceries today, so let's hope that I can do it as frugal as possible.

    My list:
    make bed
    pick up
    pay credit card bill
    get groceries
    organize bills

Gonna be frugal one for us. Have to do some cleaning (ugh...bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room) and some paperwork (double ugh...). I did notice that Bealls' clearance went from 50 to 60% off the red tag so I need to try on my new clothes and see if it's worth my time and trouble to take em back in and return and repurchase for the difference. I might need to wait till they do the 25% or 50% off the red tag......the only thing is I can't wear em till it gets there.

Happy Labor Day! I woke up and forgot it was Monday! I wondered why the weekly newscasters were working on a weekend! LOL

Today I am meeting my Dad for lunch and just hanging out with him.

Later I'll make dinner with DH and just enjoy our day off!

Hope you all have a relaxing Labor Day! I am glad to have to day off. I work in special education at the public school district, so I always welcome a break! We have only been in school 2 weeks and I was already ready...lol! No more breaks until Thanksgiving. I am always glad to have the weekends to recup!

    Today I am:
    resting!
    Listed items on ebay!
    Put away dishes from dishwasher
    Made beds
    Need to sweep/mop
Fold laundry and start another load.

my list includes hanging out around the house, even though it is a beautiful day I don't feel like going anywhere. I am going to make my bed, and do more laundry, maybe pick up around the house. read some it is a day off after all.

It's been a rainy Monday here.

We had a BBQ to go to this afternoon so I had tons to do this
morning. I was able to catch up on my ironing which made
    me feel alot better.

While I was doing household chores DH went to the store for me
& although I appreciate his effort, I prefer to do the shopping
myself! Does that sound strange! Although I gave specific
instructions on what stores to go to due to prices etc.

We just got home from the BBQ & I just have on my robe & slippers now as I'm relaxing the rest of the evening. Everything
is pretty caught up around the house so I'll just have some computer time & TV time to fit in.
