Taco Seasoning Mix


Recipe Description
I've used this one for years and years. I like it much better than the store mixes because it doesn't have all the salt and it's much less expensive.
Preparation Steps:
Place all ingredients in jar and shake to combine. Shake again before each use.

1/2 c. dried minced onion
1/4 c. chili powder
1 2/3 T. cornstarch
1 2/3 T. red pepper flakes
1 2/3 T. instant minced garlic
2 1/2 t. dried oregano
1 2/3 T. ground cumin
Serves:Directions:
To make meat for tacos, brown one pound hamburger or ground turkey, add 1/2 c. water and 2 T. taco seasoning mix. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
