My new July Challenge:

I am starting a new challenge for myself this month in July. I will have to skip Augest...maby not skip it but slow down a little and not put much effort...Baby is comming next month. Anyways...I am going to keep track of all the change I find, on the ground, etc. And I am also going to collect pop cans and bottles and keep track of how much I collect each month. I have a shed that is just full of them. I wont count those but I do need to turn them in. LOL. Anyways....I will start today and it will go in my siggy. ANyone else?

Good luck with your challagne. Ds's save cans and just cashed them in and made 54.40 not bad for a little work. We always save change and I put it in my savings every couple months.

So far, I haven't found any change anywhere but we haven't been out much either.

I don't find change very often anymore. (I did constantly when I was working at Bath and Body Works!) But when I did find it, I just threw it in my change jar with the rest of the change.

I save the slips from my cans and bottles till they add up to $20 dollars or more...My plan is always to cash them in, deposit them in the bank and put into the high interest account.....in reality, they usually go towards gas for the car during tight times. Well, at least it's put to good use.

I found $4.16 on my hubbies drssser yesterday and promptly confiscated it and added to my change jar!! He will never know! hehe!He and my son never clean out their pockets so laundry sometimes nets me a nice bit too!

I finally counted up all the change I had laying around this house and in old purses (I found the most change in the old purses, lol) and it equaled $156.00. Now I just have to roll it to get the bank to deposit it.

Kinda motivtes me to empty my change every day and let it add up!
