Had to take DD3 shopping for underwear today. Successfully avoided even trying on new stuff. Guess that means I'm off to a good start.

Good for you, Mira! I've had to avoid ebay so I won't find anything else I "need". LOL.

I'm hanging in there so far, though! I altered another dress last night and it will be really cute on me in about 10 pounds from now. And as of this morning, I am two pounds closer to my goal of having my old wardrobe back.

Good for you Lukesmama, staying away from favorite websites is a tough challenge. And congrats on the weightloss, it must feel great to be taking in clothes.

I'm in! I bought a cheap cotton cardigan some days ago, but I don't need any new items of other kinds.
    - I really have enough clothes, summer and winter.
    - now I'm working at home, so I can wear old t-shirts and sweatpants unless I'm going out.
    - at the sales I found half-price the leather coat I've always wanted, so I'm really done with big purchases. For long!

I have yet to buy clothes for myself for quite some time..last time was underware over a year ago.

Although my mom decided that after i had Ellen i needed an all new wardrobe *rme* so she bought me several new shirts and pants.. might have had something to do with the fact that i wore sweat pants during the last months because my belly was to big to fit my other pants .. and thats what i could afford .. and what my manager actually sugested.

I'm in! Well...for me... I'm set for clothes...should actually be good until after we move!!

We have to buy Dh a suit for his interview in 6 weeks. OUCH...that'll be spendy!

Anyhoo, after that...no clothes for both of us. We both need a pair of tennis shoes...does that count in the "clothing" category? We've already planned a run to the store on Sunday to get shoes, so if it does count, I'll "officially" start this challenge on Monday.

I am joining this challange! I couldn't join last month since I have a new foster son and had to get him lots of clothes. I need to buy him a winter coat and DD18 a pair of shoes, but that is all until January. If even then. I tend to go on a buying fast after Xmas due to money but also due to just being plain sick of shopping! So, deal me in!

Bought DFS his winter coat for $20 over budgeted amount. Also found pajama bottems for DH for $5 at discount place. Won't buy DD18 her new shoes yet. She doesn't bother me for them, so I can put it off. I think she doesn't care. So, that should be it for the rest of 20008!!! We will see what happens. How is everyone else doing???

    FAIL!
Not a big fail though: at the end of October I bought a heavy cotton jacket and a nice shirt at H&M. €40 totally. Oh, and 2 pairs of socks at the supermarket.
These were my only clothing purchases September-December though. (Only a few years ago I would have bought much more clothing in one season!)
    How did everybody go??
