rules -- there aren't any really, but you HAVE to put the amount of money in for the day
ex: On the fourth day of Christmas put in 4 dollar bills or 4 quarters, any amount, but it HAS to be equal to the day... on the eighth day, 8 dollars or quarters etc...
If you put a dollar per day, it comes out to $78 a rotation, I know not everyone can put dollars in, you want to put dimes? It's YOUR Twelve Days of Christmas have fun with it!!!
I think I am going to keep it up every month and use the money I saved through out the year towards money
I'm in. I think I will use the money to be put in the no work summer fund. This is such a great idea. Keep me posted on exactly what to do, but I think I got the gist of it.
I would like to try to keep it up all year and see what I come up with. I know that I can do it.
I figures out a little formula for the type (dollar, quarter, etc.) of money I will put in for the day of the week. I will start with $1 for the first 5 days. The money will be used to replenish the emergancy fund, then for my no work summer fund, and then to save for a new cook top. I plan on participating in this challenge for myself into next year.
Dec. 1st for me too. I'm doing 12 days of $1 and then start again with 12 more $1 days. That will bring me to Christmas eve. and a good head start on the roofing job. January (and each month following) I will do something similar.
I started today and put $1 in. I'm going through the entire month putting in a scheduled type of money each day. Days 1-5 are $1. I will continue into next year. Hoping to replenish the emergancy fund first. I will deposite the money on the last day of the month.
The tweleve days ofChristmas refer to the days between Christmas and Epiphany Sunday so thats when I will begin I will do the Dollar corresponding to the day Such fun thanks for thinking of it
:tree: ...On the Fifth day of (money) Christmas there's 15 in my tin...
4 from yesterday
3 from before
2 wrinkly bills...
and a George who kinda looks like a tree
:bump: Just a heads up... I will be starting this again November 1, I hope some of you can join me!
