Default October 2010 house payment - extra principal challenge

We were doing this this summer, I thought I'd pop it up again

I like seeing months coming off the mortgage.

This week i upped our weekly payment by $50/week. This took off 5 years from the mortgage, if we keep it that way. With ALL the extra in the weekly payments(now I think it's 80/week) it took off nearly 10 years

I am hoping to make a principal payment on the 20th... Aiming for $600. Curious to see what that does to the amortization.

I love that!! I was doing pretty well, but then they re-figured our escrow account and upped our payment by $200!! That eats up my principal payment!
