Default Debt Reduction and Emergency Fund Challenge needs your help!

    Hey gang!

Don't forget to post your updates to the Emergency Fund and Debt Reduction challenges. We need everyone we can get participating if we're going to hit our goals this year!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

would love to help, but I am now debt free except mortgage. I do post those payments. I also haven't been adding much to the emergency fund because we are pregnant and paying for dr. bills with any extra money we have instead of going into new debt.

I am excited to see other people's progress and am so happy to be out of consumer debt!

I'm still participating. I'll be updating my mortgage payment at month-end.
