I spent €1.71 today on milk - I wasn't going to buy any yet but Dh wanted to get it just in case. They were already sold out of the kind we usually get, AGAIN.

Went grocery shopping spent $163.87. Lots of stock up stuff that was on sale for decent prices by today's standards.

I cannot believe the price of peanut butter, a double pack of Jif 40 ozers for $12.99 , at that price it should be spun gold. That's almost $4.00 more than I paid the last time I bought it.

    Saved $24.48 with coupons & bogos .

Over my weekly average this month for food. Would have been considerably under if I hadn't stocked up on meat at a very good sale.

spent $ 0 on health, hygiene and household supplies. That is way under the average. lol

In January I was able to meet the goal of 80 less per month. I am very happy since I also added 60 jars of different ragu, several cans of coffee to the stockpile. I think I am still wasting alittle too much and still giving in to too many impulse buys though.
February goal is 320 for the month. Again hoping to save the 80 I would normally spent toward my carpet fund and vacation fund.

Went over in Jan. but my freezer is full. I just couldn't pass some sales up. This month I'm shooting for 400 or heck even 350.00.

I came in over budget in January due to a little stockpiling on some hamburger and needing to buy some food for my DD (she had a tonsillectomy).

I'm going to give it another try in February.

Spent $110.53 today for food, that's 24.47 under budget! I never got to making a list as I accidentally threw out the flier and the private website that shows the fliers for Demoulas wasn't updated this week. I think I was EXTRA cautious as I didn't want to go over- and came out way under!

This week under last year's weekly average in both grocery category and the health, hygiene, and household supplies category.

Also checked out my average so far for 2012 ( 6 weeks in)

Below last year's average in groceries and just at last year's average in the health, hygiene and household supplies.
