I'm in again.I won't have as much change now that I'm retired but every little bit adds up. Haven't really decided what to do with it yet. Maybe save it for my 50th wedding anniversary in a few years.
Im in I do this every year except for pennies they get saved and sent to St judes childrens hospital in memory of my Dad who used to do the same thing always use the change for Christmas last years total 779.00 On to the challenge
I'm in Hubbs and I use to do this alot, so I think we will do it again. Not sure what we will use it for in the end, but will think about it and post later.
I'm in... I actually started my change jars at the end of November but already have a $30 in them. I am used to not carrying cash but I am trying to change that habit so that I don't end up overdrafting my account at all this year (only happened a couple times last year but it still bites when that happens) I have my totals in my siggy and it's broken up into 3 jars... Pennies, Quarters and Other Change.
I have two change jars. One promised to a friend's daughter. She gets a piece of silver for every single day she "planks" and posts a FB photo. She's doing this to raise money for the humane society and I labeled a jar for her
The other change jar is ours and I think I'll save for vacation spending money.
I'm in, one for Christmas 2012, the other not sure what I'll use it for, maybe a vacation, haven't been anywhere since 2006, or maybe to reduce debt... :shrug2:
I'm in! While I would like the change to go toward something fun, I think I'll be putting the totals (plan to deposit the totals June 29 and December 31) toward snowballing our payments to get rid of debt. I'll count what's in my piggy bank tonight and post my total tomorrow as a starting amount.
not sure what i will use it for yet....will count tomorrow and post my total...
