Question to all you online sellers - I am using KJ & CL. Do you guys experience this? Last time I sold stuff online via these sites, it wasn't like this.

Do you guys often get solicited by others offering to 'buy from afar' using PayPal, offering to pay the fees and having someone else pick up the said item on their behalf?? (I know its a scam but sheesh) I have had over 10 offers like this which I have just ignored. Also, with each reply I've given to one address, its replied back using a whole different email address with the same email message body. (another red flag for me)

Lastly - why do people buying make such silly requests? I have posted pics, description with make, model and with a price. You've already taken the time to 'contact poster' so why not ask your questions there instead of replying with "I need a freezer. Plz call me" <<< WTH is up with that?!

~And that's the reason I won't touch CL. I keep hearing how they are almost completely taken over by scammers and trolls. *sigh*
I sold 2 more things on my FB group this morning. $16 added.~

~Ok, I had my first person back out of a sale so I'm subtracting that amount plus I figured out all the Ebay fees for my big sale and am adjusting the profit down to reality. ~

Sold a few things, after paypal/ebay fees/shipping, $42.81. I have 3 more things sold I haven't been paid for yet, will be another roughly $20. Starting the xmas fund!

one thing that frustrates me- 1 bidder wouldn't pay, wouldn't answer emails, had to open a non paying bidder complaint- they paid the LAST day the case was open before it could be closed. I wanted to leave neutral feedback, turns out sellers can only leave positive feedback for buyers- what a JOKE! So buyers who drag their feet paying and won't honor the terms of the sale until forced to still get glowing feedback. One other buyer wouldn't pay, then I realized they had bid on another item- 3 days after the last item was won, still haven't paid despite being invoiced. Is there a sudden rash of 'bad buyers' out there or what?

~I did not notice that change. Yikes. That's not right. Yes there has been an increase in rotten buyers and this little tweak explains why. Bad buyers can now get away with it. Boo!~

I didn't sell anything on eBay last week - I've been listing on Sundays and maybe since everything ended during the Superbowl that had something to do with it.

I re-listed 2 items tonight (Friday). Going to see if the day makes any difference. I also listed a 3rd item to meet my challenge goals.

Hehehe...We had a heavier snow fall overnight then anticipated so the guy didn't show up as agreed upon. No emails either stating he'd be late, could we postpone/resched b/c of weather etc (he emails using his iPhone so he could've emailed while hes on his way or if he had issues). Thought he was another 'no show' and got started on making brunch. The doorbell rang and DH went and took care of business w/o hassles.

So thats one less scary thing I have to deal with I just wish the other items I have posted would sell too so we can get this over with. I'd rather sell these items at a loss then just toss them to the curb for garbage pick up.

I have not used them, my friend has, with good results. Plug in the book #s, they pay shipping, send you a check 1-2 months later. They do only take more rcent books (roughly 2-3 yrs old).
