Feel free to join to post your coupon (or rebate/'rewards') saving successes here! I'll get the ball rolling for 2012-
Saved $19.90 at CVS using coupons/rewards today. Saved over $2k after coupon expenses last year, hoping to hit 3K this year and really grow that stockpile using my coupons!
Im in! Even though I'm not going to stockpile unless its a super great bargain (b/c we're trying to deplete our stockpiles) I'm going to track my coupon savings this year
Jan 3 - I saved $5.99 by getting a box of cereal for free w/coupon
I'm in Last night was my first grocery shopping trip of the new year. I saved $41.17 with coupons and $32.78 by using my Tops Cuisinart points to get a FREE Cuisinart mini chopper.
We also got a new printer last night (only $29!) so I can print coupons again.
So far this year I've spent $20 on papers for coupons.
For this challenge I am going to count all coupons, rebates (including things like gift cards received for purchasing) and online coupons (like free shipping & % off codes).
*2-tables from NFL.com--$242.26 - $200 (rebate gift card) - $32.28 (free shipping code) = $9.98 total cost
$23.30 at grocer's, $3 at Walmart, and my crowning coupon achievement this week, unexpectedly...3 free tubes of 'Frontline Plus' from the vet- I breed pugs, brought a litter in for their 8 week exam/shots/health certs, found out there's coupons from the company for a free tube for 'new' puppies...worth about $30 today, for me. Yay!
Totals from Yesterday:
$42 -Kroger -lost the receipt so not sure on % total :sigh:
$10 -CVS 72% savings
$23.86 -Rite Aid 69% savings (odd number for free items which were written into the coupon)
