Making $$$, Extra Cash Challenge 10/2-10/9

I concluded in September that I didn't bring in enough extra cash.  All my extra cash is going towards paying down debt.  I decided that I probably spent too much time at FV, and surfing the web and not enough time listing items on ebay.  I'm also still working on building up my emergency fund.  So, to keep me focused and on track making money. . .while I'm saving money, here it goes.

September was a slow month for me with regards to bringing in extra, but I'm hoping October will go better.

My extra money all goes into checking to pay bills, also, so it's much needed. here's how my week should look:

Sunday - No extra money brought in.
Today - $25 for a piano lesson
Tuesday - No extra brought in
Wednesday - No extra brought in
Thursday - $40 for tutoring
Friday - $33 for piano lessons
Saturday - No extra brought in

I have been doing a challenge on another board about earning $10 a day, that is quite fun. Involves spending a lot of time doing surveys/ entering contests/ and listing online but so far I have managed the $10 a day for 12 days.

OK, I'm in for the week. I have a few things I've been wanting to list on E-Bay, so that will give me the boost I need. I also have a couple of older game systems that I will list on our message board at work and a desk to list on Craigs list. Every little bit helps!

i've tried selling some things but no takers...guess i'm not good at selling

anyway, i'm still hoping that someone will want some nice china i have never used 9given to me 2nd hand but never used in the 5 years i've had it)...will have to try to maybe list it in the local paper, they don't charge much to list.

what other things do y'all know that would be good to bring in extra money...i can't do much since i'm disabled somewhat. any easy ideas maybe?

I made $6 doing surveys online not much but it's something extra and the month's not over yet. I just did another survey online so will get another check too. I hope my old boss calls me in two weeks cause my current boss will be on vacation all we so I won't be working. Maybe I can make some cash working for him.

I mailed out two eBay sales today. I miscalculated the shipping, though and charged too low. So, I only made $4.00 on the one shipment and only made about $7.00 on the other. Still more than I would have made if I had tossed them or freecycled them, so I guess I won't complain over $11.00. I also made about $8.00 in another sale, so almost $20.00 in one day. All of that goes to my paypal account which is connected to my extra bank account. Now, $12.00 of that was sent out yesterday (you keeping track here?) to pay for books that I bought from Michelle, so I now have about $8.00 left over, and I'm 14 books up for Christmas for dd.

I made $18 today doing a Mystery shop which was bonused and I had lunch which was free (it will be reimbursed)!!
I also have been doing surveys on line and one account just reached $10 so I will cashout and it will go into my paypal account tomorrow.

I got a $5 Amazon gift card today for doing a survey.
I made $185 profit from my Mary Kay business between 2 sales. I was excited, but re-invested it in my inventory.

I want in on the secret... How do I get into mystery shopping and online surveying?? Please, pretty please...

I substituted for my old job last Friday and this Friday, so there's about $400 coming my way... They say they need me for 4 weeks, so that'll be money directly to pay off my first snowball!! Whoop whoop... I may take some of the money to buy another digital camera since mine was stolen at a wedding... booooo!! I have SO.much.stuff to liquidate... I'm starting up piles of things to return... Wal-mart, Ross, USC store, Target... I have about 40-50 at each place...

I'm going to look into consignment for my couture and designer clothes and bags... I think this post shoulda gone in my blog....
