I'm in, CJ. My only difference is that I don't count it regularly as many of you do. We use our change jar for vacation spending money, so we save from August to August and only count it right before we go on vacation.

Interestingly enough, since we've not been spending as much, I've noticed that we hardly have anything in the change jar since last August. I guess that's a good thing!

Amy I don't count it regularly either. I try to every couple months and then I use it to put towards our debt.

I'm with you though, ours doesn't get filled very fast anymore with working towards getting our van paid off. It's surprising how little goes in the jar.

I'll try this one too.....I'll just have Joe save me some large pickle jars from the resturant.....We have one, but if I am going to keep the silver coins seperate from the pennies I'll need another one

I'm in. I tend to dig into it every couple of months when I want money for something that I don't really need. The accountability will be good. This year I'd like to add the money to our cash stash for use in case of disaster. We've agreed that we'd like to have $400 cash in the safe, but we currently only have $150.

Oh, and I just put my silver money and pennies all together.

I am in....I even have a cute little bank that looks like a washing machine in my laundry room. That is where I find most of my change - in the washer and dryer! My goal is to use it for vacation money when we go to KY in June.

I'm in. We use ours for vacation, too, and don't count it on a regular basis. Good luck!

Count me in. I'll go tally my change and add it in my signature when I get a number.
I have nothing to use it on right now- so it'll just be fun to do.
In all honesty, I hardly ever have change left at the end of the day because I use the change when I buy something- like tea.
So, this WILL be a challenge for me
Same with DH. He uses his silver to buy his newspaper and doesn't like me taking the silver from the dish. A few stolen here and there will be another challenge! I'm such a she-devil!

I am in too! Just counted all my change and my pennies. So my siggy is up to date.

All mine will go towards debt. I will keep track how much I save over the year.

Next year the jar will be just for Vacation.
