Paid $400 a few days ago on the cement loan, bringing the balance down to $755. Also added on the loan for hubby's "new" truck, $2000, which we're going to try *really* hard to pay off by the end of the year.

Just paid another $600 on the cement loan today. We have nothing left for the rest of the week's bills but, luckily, there are only a couple and they're flexible enough to wait until next week when we can play catch up.

This gives me such motivation to track it on this site.

*sigh*
Just found out that hubby charged $1500 worth of new metal for the roof. Guess I'll add that to the list since it has to be paid in about a month.
One step forward, two steps back.

Well I got a somewhat debt paid. I needed a belt and brakes for my van, and so we had to figure out how to get that into the budget, so 150 dollars for parts and husband labor at the auto hobby shop.. But now I know my van is dependable and not having to fix a bigger problem later down the line

I want to pay as much extra on my van payment every month that I can. My payment is $551.16 and today I sent $600
I'd like to pay $600 every month. Then again I might pay the min and put the other towards cc bills to get them paid asap....
I have 2 credit cards....Discover which was a balance transfer (I did make a few more purchases) from another card because I got 0% interest till Aug.I forgot the exact amount but it was around $2969...I paid $500 today......
I have one other card with a balance of about $3000 I want paid off really quick because the interest is just unreal!!!!
Once I get my totals I'll post them in my siggy.

We have paid $1528 so far in 2006 on our home equity loan.
Now we're finally under $10K, and are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I just made another payment. Now I have reached my January goal.
This is now below $3000!!!! Yippeee!!!!
This started at $3912 1/1
New Balance $2976 1/21
It is so amazing what you can do when you focus. I am hoping to make one more big payment before the end of the month.
Next goal is to have this below $2000 by 3/1/2006. I just know that I can do it.

I would love to join this group...
DH and I have $4868.61 car loan and $11911.88 in Student loan debt. We hopefully will have both paid off by the end of this year! Then we'll work on the savings plan.
Thanks for all the inspiration!
