Hello Cupid! Thanks for the recent arrow, and the handsome new boyfriend -- he's great!

I'm starting out on a brand-new life this year -- new city, new job, new home, and new lover. So I need to start some new habits too. And one was to implement a new budget. I'll try to post and explain it better at another time.

I DID have $25 set aside from last pay (Friday) for my savings, but unfortuneately, had some vandalism happen to my car and now I will have to pay considerably more for that. :S Not nice. Grrrrr...

So my first payment will have to wait til my first offical payment for February.

I just watched in January, and I think I am in for Feb. Actually that is our entire financial goal right now is building the EF to $10,000. We should be able to add several K from the tax refund. Right now we are at $3600 or there abouts. We add $400 a month (our old car payment), but I need to kick it in gear and add extra throughout the month. I have some rebates coming so those will go in there for sure.

That's really smart my4littlebuffaloes, to use the money to save after you have paid off a bill!

Didn't do very well last month, but I've got my budget laid out and think I can put in a pretty good amount this month.
