Well, we started in October of 2006 (when I found this site and Dave Ramsey) we saved our $1000 Ef and paid of $6000 in CC debt.
    It is what it is.

The Good News: I finished Baby Step 1 and have over $1000 in an Emergency Fund. I have over $700 set aside for my wedding and have created an action plan to pay for everything else with cash. I payed off my $750 computer debt. I paid down my car debt by approximately $4500.

The Bad News: I got a 0% CC and now have over $5000 in CC debt. I bought a flute, which I now owe approx. $1500 on. I loaned a friend $546 for her rent, and paid that on a CC.

The Goal: My friend is paying me back the money I loaned her by the end of Feb., so CC #1 will be taken care of. I plan to pay off my flute by Sept. (I figure I will get some extra money at my wedding). I plan to pay off CC#2 with the money I will have freed up after my wedding and with my end of the year bonus at my job.
