I can't stay out of Dillon's (Kroger) this week because of the "buy 15 get $5 off" promotion. Today I got
(2) boxes of Hamburger Helper
(4) boxes of Old El Paso hard and soft taco shells
(1) Pillsbury French Loaf
(1) can of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls
(1) can of Pillsbury Crescent rolls
(6) cups of Yoplait yogurt
Total with tax after coupons (I had already used all of my Yoplailt coupons the other day, so I didn't have any for the yogurt) was $5.95 for all 15 items. I just can't resist a good deal. My pantry is getting full! We also have 18 cups of yogurt.

I've spent $197 of the $225 for September, but a lot of that has been to stock the freezer. It's almost full of good stuff for the next several months.
Tonight I've got to package about 12 lbs. of ground chuck for freezing.

I spent $198 when I went last week. My budget for the month is $380 (this includes diapers, cleaning supplies, etc) but I am going to try & stick to $300 for the whole month, leaving me $102. I usually go grocery shopping every 2 weeks but I think I might start trying to stretch it out to every 3 weeks, we seem to end up having plenty of food to COOK by the end of those 2 weeks but not much in the way of snacks, bread, milk, sandwich meat, etc.
I also put aside about 1/2 of the snack foods for the kids I bought last week, because it seems no matter how much snack stuff I buy, its the first to go. So far, I have only pulled out the vanilla wafers to make pudding & the stash is completely there otherwise, so that is good.
I think I can make $102 work. I have enough meat to last about 2 weeks, I think...I just need 1 or 2 things (I split big packs of meat into 2-3 meals), and I will probably need 1 pack of diapers and 1 container of dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent, and other than that, I can buy some food & hopefully last til the 5th.

I've spent $198/$300 this month and we did some entertaining etc and haven't really been eating out (maybe twice?)

Different people include different items. Personally, I do not include anything but food in mine. If it is not something for a human to eat then it is not included in my grocery budget.
Spent $25 at Wal-Mart today.
For the month: $260 spent / $340 left.DD (20)
DS (17)

Fred Meyer: $58.53
I am including all paper goods, cleaning supplies, laundry soap, etc.... in my $400.
To date ~ $285.29/$400

Halfway through the month, and we've spent less than half of the budget so I'd say we're doing good!
