It was a nice peaceful day with NO complaining when someone was asked to help with something. That would have been gift enough. I am however thrilled with the weightlifting gloves and computer game DH bought "from the boys".
My younger son worked really hard on gifts for me that he made. He made me a very sturdy orange and electric blue duct tape basket with handles and a new white duct tape purse with black embellishments. It's actually pretty good and even has a phone case. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.

My dh gave me a card like he usually does. My 2 daughters and future dil took me out to lunch. Which was a new thing. My daughters gave me a card and 2 hanging flowers(dad helped pay). My son and future dil gave me cut flowers and a card when they came to the house. My olders son and wife both called me yesterday at different times. Today I got cards from them and the granddaughters. I also got pictured of the grandaughters.
So I had a very nice day.

I got a gift basket. The boys sort of behaved (which is better than normal) and DH yelled at them (usually I am the heavy). I got to watch whatever I wanted on tv (that never happens). DH grilled chicken for dinner. And, they all four (DH and the three boys) helped me plant the other side of the garden. I planted zuchinnis (yellow and green), two pumpkins, and a zillion pounds of potatoes that were sprouting.
Side note:
After xmas, I go buy a bunch of gift baskets for the next year. The boys just go out to the garage and "shop" instead of Dad running them up to the dollar store the night before each gift giving holiday. I get smells that I actually want and it saves on gas because DH isn't running teh boys fourteen miles (with gas at almost $3 a gallon) to the store several times a year for them to grab something from the picked over dollar store selection.Beak-1996, Toad-1998, and Q-1998
