Knitting a Scarf - Wish Me Luck
So, I'm knitting dd a scarf for Christmas. The yarn is a cool, rainbow color and I think she's going to love it. It's looking a little messy right now, but hopefully it will straighten out as I go. Wish me luck!

You can do it, Amy! All of my knitting looks a little 'rough' when I start, but after a few rows, it looks better.______

I'm sure it will turn out great and she will treasure it forever because you made it especially for her!

I'm sure it will come out great, and she will
it.
What pattern are you doing? I really need to continue...I get really into it and then get distracted by other things
How long have you been knitting?

Michelle...pattern? There's a pattern I'm supposed to use???
I'm not sure...I'm just knitting like it showed me in the little knitting handbook I picked up. No purling. I know that. The yarn is rainbow dyed, so as I knit, it's creating a nice rainbow effect.
They were throwing away some yarn here at camp and I resuced it...a really pretty subdued green that blends into some other colors. I'll be using that to knit a scarf for my Mom as well.
Have to say...I'm LOVING it!My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Good luck Amy!
I'm still working on a scarf that I started just before Christmas last year. Of course, I'm using skinny sock yarn to make it so it's taking forever...
