    Question Question for those who buy yarn online

    How to you choose the quality-do you get samples of the yarn you want to buy,do you only buy yarn that you've already"touched" and what about colour is it true to what you see on the screen?

    I buy a lot from Knit Picks. Everything I have gotten from them has been extremely good quality. They also have a very good description of the yarns. I haven't had any issues with colors not being what they seemed, but you can always order swatches.

    I usually only buy what I've used before. I love www.knitting-warehouse.com , they have most of the yarns I love and the shipping is only $5.99 regardless of how much you buy. I also love www.knitpicks.com and www.smileysyarns.com and recently I just discovered mill ends by the pound at www.angelicrafts.com

    I buy occasionally from Knitpicks.com, I mostly like their needles though. I also like TheLoopyEwe.com and Etsy.com...a little too much
