Plastic Canvas "Jack in the Box" Ornaments
"jack in the box" ornaments
plastic canvas
yarn: red, green and white
3/4" white pompoms
1/4" black pompoms
tiny eyes
tiny black seed beeds
Cut plastic canvas into 9holes by 9holes squares. It takes six sides to make a square. Use your red or white or green yarn to decorate a design on each side. stitch the six sides together to make a box with the lid hinged open.
glue together two white pompoms. on the "head" glue two black pompoms for the ears. glue on two eyes and a bead for the nose. tie the "jack" onto the open lid with a piece of yarn.
on one corner of the lid, tie on a piece of yarn for the loop to hang onto the tree."Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibity."
