Default students making baby hats

A while back I announced that I have two students who are meeting at lunchtime in my classroom to knit baby hats. These are girls in need of a positive, female, adult role-model. Anyway, they have knitted a total of four hats! I'm thinking of giving them to a local pregnancy center, or to Arkansas Children's Hospital.

I just had to brag on these girls. They are so sweet, a little "rough around the edges," but very dedicated!

That is so sweet! My dd for the first time started knitting for charity this year. She's donated two pairs of baby booties and a hat so far.

I'm glad you have been able to reach them with knitting

That is just so sweet. It often becomes a lifelong thing once they start. You can be so proud of those students.

Yea for them! Yea for you! What gifts to be passing on -- not just your knitting skills and the finished products, but your time, patience, caring, wisdom, and I'm sure your ear and shoulders, too. Bless you!
