Knitting books I love.....
Between these two books:
'the knitters handy book of sweater patterns' (the title is all in lower case), by Ann Budd
'The Knitting Stitch Bible', by Maria Parry-Jones
I can make just about any sweater for someone (or me!) in any size or with any stitch or cable or jacquard pattern I want. I love them!______

I need to check out the first book you mentioned.
I personally love and recommend anything by Barbara Walker. Her knitting treasuries series are the most extensive stitch encyclopedias ever written. I think she invented mosaic knitting and her book of mosaic patterns is as amazing as the treasuries. I also have her Knitting From the Top Down book and her Learn to Knit an Afghan book.
