How can you tell what styles FLATTER your shape?

I used to be thin and willowy -- EVERYTHING looked great on me.

Then I turned 30. And had kids. And turned middle aged. Etc.

How do you figure out what styles flatter your figure?

(I figure this is most relevant to Needle Arts, but if it needs to get moved, that's fine.)

I wish I could answer your question, but I to have often wondered what looks best on what kind of figure. So I went hunting and found this that really explains different kinds of body styles and what seem to work best.
