Default Isn't this pretty? It's the pattern I'm using for DD's scarf.

    Here's the designer's blog post:

    http://2sticksandastring.blogspot.co...ere-it-is.html

The pattern is a free download on Ravelry. Search on 'canberra'.

The designer, Doreen, pm'd me that she thought I was the first to cast on.

If any of you are interested, I can tell you a few things:
    • even though it's cables and lace ... with a chart, it's not that hard -- a 6-row repeat.
    • It goes pretty fast -- I'm a slow knitter, and I'm getting one repeat done in about 15 minutes.
    • It's workingg up really pretty.

Bwaaah! I am trying to make everyone's queue longer than mine!

(I only queue if I'm reasonably sure I'll make it someday. Otherwise, I just 'favorite' it.)

Just to let you know, I'm having camera issues, so I don't know when the pics of my knitting will get posted.

Thanks, everybody. Now, watch! You'll all cast on and finish before I do! That would make Darlene (the designer) happy, anyway!

This pattern is going quickly: I only have about 10 repeats left!

I blocked it this morning ... and my 60" scarf stretched to almost 90"

    !!!!!!

I'm leaving it to dry overnight; then we'll see how it looks.

I think DD will be pleased with it at 90".

How did it look in the morning, Early Bird? It's so pretty. If I had more confidence, I would try it too.
