Ok, I am definitely new to crocheting. I'm working on a simple double crochet baby blanket for little one. I'm just alternating yarn and going to try to go for an interesting border when done. LOL I'll post a pic when I am done.
Anyway, are the graph patterns difficult? I so badly want to do better at crocheting and do something neat. I look at some of the afghans online and my jaw just drops. I can only hope I ever get to that point.
I'm considering buying a video or two. I am so pig headed at trying to learn from these leaflets. I honestly don't even know if my stitches are self created or the real thing. LMAO
I guess I am just curious. I love to try new things and always try my best at doing something decent.

So far I haven't come up with anything. I can't remember where I got this one. Was it here? Anyways seems to be easy enough. I have all sorts of links that I want to try and make stuff from. But like you I am just a beginner. Currently working on making an afghan from squares. 25 squares made and a bigillion left to go! LOL http://www.angelfire.com/ky/sammy1/
Me too i want to try something diffrent i think i am doing a blanket that is double crochet but i have to wonder if i am just doing a new stitch too! It is so bad i had to start a new something because i finished the other one last night and by this afternoon i was going crazy. What was life like before i started this? It's addictive isn't it. GOOD LUCK sorry to ramble.

I had a baby blanket pretty well started. I looked at it and noticed it was getting wider in some areas and thinner and others. I ripped it all apart and started over. LOL Is that a riot or what?
I figure dc is much too heavy for the baby to use as a blanket now anyway. I just truly need the practice. I figure I can use it as a floor blanket mostly for her to roll on etc.
Ahh well. I have to learn somehow.

Thank you thank you. You're saving me from such silly practice projects like ponchos. LMAO
My mom made me several as a kid. How funny is that?

Mine when I was a kid had the fringe like this, but it had a tie near the neck with pom pons on the end. LOL
