    I wish we'd had internet and you-tube when I was a younger woman.

    My mom taught me to knit and purl when I was 9 years old, but everything else has been trial and error for me---using circulars, dpn's, openwork (lacy stuff), and the rest.

    I learned by trying, cussing, and ripping out.

    Now I use you-tube for some things and of course all of the wonderful help I've gotten from sites like FV needlearts.
