I thought this would be a good thread to start for all of us cross-stitchers. If you know of a good website to find FREE cross-stitch patterns, please post here to share with us all. I am always looking for new patterns.

The following site is a little strange. Many small motifs but the color pics are blurred. The charts are clear.

There is a tab at the top for free patterns. They are wonderful. I was a member years ago, but stopped cross-stitching. Looking at some of these again, when I checked the site to be sure of the name, make we want to start again!

There are some minis, many are huge eleaborate projects. All are beautiful.

I explored artecy.com a bit more and I think it's changed a bit. I may not be remembering correctly, but I thought in the past there were more free ones available. Still, it would be worth keeping an eye on as new ones come up.

Also, the cost for purchasing an individual pattern at 3.95 is very resonable, as you'll see when you look at the patterns. One of the full size ones could be stitching for months!

Thanks, I will do some exploring. Has been years since I cross stitched but still have thread and fabric and BOOKS.

If the crochet doesn't work out maybe I will go back to CS. Want something to do while watching TV besides trying to read.
