Post Knit and Crochet in Public Days 2011

~I just heard about this yearly event to raise awareness and enthusiasm for needle arts. This year it runs from June 11-19th.
I haven't picked up my needles in a couple of months but I will this week. I have a dishcloth to finish and then I'm moving onto these adorable booties: Baby Janes Knitting Pattern | Red Heart
I don't know where I'd go to knit in public though. Maybe just my front porch. ~

Dubya's last ball game of the season is at 1:15 tomorrow. I'll be knitting at the game, as long, as Moo Cow cooperates.

I been taking unfinished knitted hats and working on them at the local farmer's market when I set up. More than once, I been asked questions about my latest knitting project. I have a lady who wants to donate me several big bags of yarn. Tomorrow hopefully. Works for me
Also just found out the gal who sets up next to me, used to crochet hats to sell for 3 yrs at shows. Bet I pick her brain some more Yes I crochet too, but am faster at the knitting.

Guess I started early - I took my baby blanket with me to knit while in the waiting room at the hospital today, waiting on dd's surgery. Several hours of knitting, and only one comment/question.

I am so irritated - I forgot to pick up the yarn for the Special Olympics scarves project. Shall go when I am on the other side on next Friday.
