WTG. That is great. My dad's mom use to crochet and when she passed away I took all her stuff. I really wish I could learn how to do it. Maybe one of these day's I'll sit down and try myself.
wahoo! How awesome! I'm happy for you. We'll all be crocheting away.
Diana is great at explaining things. I had many mistakes I was doing and she really walked me through and helped me a lot. Many thanks to you Dee.
I'm so excited so many of us are crocheting. More people to ask questions with and bounce ideas off of too.

Now if I would just pick up some yarn and get crocheting too!
I have TONS of yarn, just haven't decided what to make yet. I love the ripple pattern link you sent me Sara. I'm thinking I'll make a lap robe and give it to the chemo unit. You wouldn't believe how cold you get when you are receiving chemo!

Okay, I'm totally convinced. I'm going into the city tomorrow and I'm going to pick up some wool, along with some crochet hooks and I'm going to try yet once again to do what everyone else is learning to do.
I am intimidated by the way patterns read, but will get there slowly.
I see some of the projects and am so motivated in learning to do them.
The hardest part for me is just not knowing if I actually did the stitch right. I can't wait for my mom to visit to just show me some stitches and pinpoint any ongoing mistakes I am making.
I have a long way to go, but am having fun with it.
