Thumbs up You all have inspired me!!!

I'm starting another afghan! I've got about 6 rows done and it's in a soft and cuddly light purple yarn. I've learned from my mistakes on past afghans, so this one is looking good right from the start. I don't have a digital camera or I'd post a picture of it. My boys saw me stating it and now all 3 of them are trying their hand at crocheting also!

    That is so neat Debbie!

I'm so happy to hear your boys are trying it. Lots of men crochet or knit, but very rarely talk about it. I taught my nephew how to use the sewing machine and he was pretty good!

The boys have all done the plastic canvas needlework before and seemed to enjoy that. We made cross ornaments with them last year.

It sounds like it is going to be a beautiful afghan. It will be so nice for you to snuggle under when the cold winter is blowing outside. I think it is wonderful that the boys are trying their hand at crocheting too.

I think I may give this afghan to my niece Ella when I finish it. She is my "special girl" and we have this incredible bond. Her Mom says Ella is half mine since I prayed her here!
