Talking newest project - knitting *1st update*

Here's what I am doing now for ds, it is a sock from www.lionbrand.com go to free patterns --> knitting --> accessories --> last pattern in that category "Family of socks"

I am doing the child sized one. It is fun, i have gotten a bit further that in the pic I am attatching... I unrolled the top on the scan too to show how far I have gotten. But you can see where the "dented in" spot it where the top rolls down to. I have done another inch or so since this scan.

I am loving knitting so far, lots of fun and doing these socks I am getting pretty instant gradification. I have this pair and then I will do a pair for DH. I am so glad i can share this here, and get such great support and help too, thanks!

the color is a bit off.

It is a verigated Red Heart yarn. it is dk blue, med blue, and light blue. the color is called "Sh Dusk" . It is worsted weight acrylic yarn.

this pair seems to be taking a while. The heels aren't easy at all, but I will get better at them.
