Thumbs up This is the coolest site to donate your knitting or crocheting to

I found this site on another site tonight and its just the coolest. Both Canadians and Americans can get involved with this. You can donate sweaters, socks, knits, hats and afghans for the people in Afghanistan.

    Check this out!!! http://www.afghansforafghans.org/index.html

Wow that's great. I'd love to be able to help out like that. Someday I WILL learn to crochet and/or knit

I found them earlier this year and donated for the first time last month. I really like their site and what they do. I know a lot of the other charities I work with don't like getting wool, or other natural fiber items, but since that's what I'm mainly working in now, it was nice to find someone who did want them.
