bwahahahahahaahahaha
our friend asked me to make him a scarf. The first one i made was really short. But it was long enough to cover his neck , and not be so long as to get in the way of jacket zippers, etc. But he had something else in mind. a long scarf. He was very appreciative of the scarf i had made , but i could tell he wished for something slightly different. So again, I made a scarf for our friend. this time i was determined to make it long. I went out and bought a pound skein of yarn. I am not playing around this time, lol. so I knit and knit and knit away on my machine. i worked three nights on it. i took it off the machine today, did the finishing technique and thought..."before i add fringe, i aught to measure it." well. the sucker is long...guess how long?? folded in half it is over 8 feet. which makes the darn thing over 16 ft long unfolded!!
LOL can't win for losing, huh? I am gonna give it to him. Its long, just like he wanted. next time, he'll be more specific. needless to say, i am not adding fringe.
and I didn't use the whole pound of yarn.
as soon as i get him to try it on, i will show you all a pic of it.
