Yarn question, Help....
I was reading a project that said it could be done with "roving" as well. But it didn't go into explaining what roving is....does anyone know? Any links so I can see it?

Its a fat and thin, kind of half spun up, but still really unspun blobs with the wool fibres going the same way, carded, but not a lot of twist to them, and the size goes thick to thin and back again.
Makes it sound awful but it's quite pretty in a textured sort of way.
The vest on last years winter issue of Knitters was in this stuff.
