What do you do with your extra end pieces of wool?
I found some I had laying around, so decided to roll them up into balls. I want to get a couple of baskets and then put them in a basket, making for a pretty decoration and also a useful one.
What do you do with your end pieces? Do you keep them, throw them away, roll them up or.......

Depends on how big they are, if rolled up in a ball and they are smaller than a plum, I will throw away. Bigger than that and I save, what for who knows, I'm a pack rat!

I use pretty much all my scraps. I make granny squares, peasant vests and sweaters, and various scrap afghans.
Depending on the amount of yarn--- I add trim to socks, hats, make crocheted motifs to embelish clothing, make baby toys (blocks, balls and so forth)

I have lots of uses for them:
1. I save them, there is alot of use for scrap yarn when using a knititng machine.
2. Also I use them balled up as decoration.
3. I ball them up real well and let the cat play with it as a distraction by my feet while i am knitting or crocheting (carefully watch your cat...or child for that matter ... when playing with yarn)
4. I save the scraps and use them for scrap afghans
5. I save scraps for sharing with friends (swap idea there maybe?)
6. I save it for using to make accent colors on edges of hats or mittens
7. I do plastic canvas also, small amounts of yarn often come in handy.
8. i could go on and on.~~ Missy ~~
