Sara, thank you, thank you. We just went to the quilting store (never mind)
and they had wool there has well. So I got some wool to make some granny squares in light purple and white for dd's room.
I'm going to be looking at these sites tonight.

Very pretty, but I think I'll stick with the simple ones to begin with. What color are you doing yours in Sara?
They always look so easy to do until you get started, don't they?

I think I'm making up stitches now. rofl
I need to learn to read patterns. I am sitting here just guessing now. Not all granny squares are easy. rofl I think I need to forget about this one. I know I made a mistake or two or three and if I keep going, I don't think it will be "square". rofl
A granny oval..yeah that's it.

Sara, your too funny.
I think when it comes to crocheting, I'm going to keep my motto as "simple, simple, simple". rofl
I seen the prettiest vest done in crochet yesterday at the quilting store I went to and was thinking, I'd love to do that up for dd. But then I looked closer and chickened out.

Sara, I just went and looked at your pattern. I think you are doing fine. It looks to me like Round 7 is where you are going to 'square' it off.
Keep going and let me know what happens.

Well, I think I did something wrong. lol
I'm starting round 8 and it's still round. It's also supposed to be 7" and it's pretty big already. lol
Round 8 is difficult for me to read.
I'm tired is probably why. I don't crochet at night very well.
