Default Crochet Tutorials that are done....

First I would like to thank all of you for your interest in learning one of my favorite passtimes.

I also want you to know that I am self taught, so I may not do things the same as you will find in some patterns. I may even do them wrong, but if it works for me? Who cares? This is a craft and as such is not a 'perfect' thing. If you find a better way to accomplish the same stitch or look to your project, use it. Just make sure you do the same thing consistently so your project is uniform.

I'm sure I have made some typo's too, so let me know when you find one and I will correct it.

I will be adding more to this list as I get them done. I have stickied all of them so they will stay at the top of the Needle Arts Forum.

Until i came here, i never wanted even to try to branch out from the two or three things i knew to do with crochet.... granny squares, ripple afghans, and double crochet i used in afghan and scarf making. I tearfully thank you for opening my eyes to other possibliities for crochet as I look around at the things I have made with your encouragement and tutorials, you encouraged me to give it a try (wether you were aware of your encouragement or not ) So I thank you for all your hard work and for the tutorials!

Melissa, you are so welcome and no I didn't know I was any influence on you. I think you just have that 'touch' with crafts, you see something you want to try and persevere until you get it!

Thanks Dee! I have looked over most of the tutorials (yo-yo's are next) and I really appreciate your taking the time to do these! I have figured out that I am doing a double crochet shell stictch afghan thanks to your tutorials and a Q & A session with Melissa. (My neighbor showed me what to do, but she is self taught and can barely read, so she can't show me the pattern on paper. She just showed me how she does it. )

    Thanks again Dee!
