Default I made my first ever Granny Square!

    It sure is pretty!

The only problems I had were the first 1st round came out hexagon shaped because I made to many crochets, but now I know how to make a hexagon shape it I want to. I also had trouble figuring out where and how to start my new color. The other thing is it looks a little loose where I slipped the rounds together. I know I did it right since it looks just like the picture.

I used an "F" hook, cause that's all I could find. It was a little small for the yarn, but I managed just fine. I've got 6 rounds and it's 6" across.

My camera is broke! It feels like the spring in the power switch has sprung and it won't turn on .

I found a mistake in it this morning. One of my thinys only has 2 dc intead of 3 I did it while up waiting for the papers. I might splurge on some crochet hooks today and try again tonight.

What colors did you use Karen? I bet it is beautiful. Don't you just love crocheting?
