Default Sara, did they replace the hook?

    crytallite hook mishap lol

Did they replace your hook for you? I went to Hobby Lobby today and bought myself some hooks. (they didn't have them available anymore in the sets) I got a G and a P and I also got myself a pair of the Crystallites in the knitting needles too, sz 8 US (5mm)

A few things concern me about them
    1. It is hard to see the size imprinted in the acrylic. So i taped a piece of paper at the end with the size. I won't be able to buy these for my grandmother with her eyesight problems. She'd never be able to tell what size she had ahold of.
    2. the sz G seems wicked flexible. I want to see how long it lasts. 3. The knitting needle looks great and is clearly marked for size, but it seems awful short. just barely longer than a double pointed knitting needle.

I also saw a Boye Knitting needle that i liked the looks of alot. So i got one pair of Sz 10 US (6.0 mm) "Balene II"(doesn't appear to me whale related to me ) They are nice and long too, 14'' (35 cm). They have a nice point to them that they call "Perfection Points". I like also that they are clearly marked for size. These are a plastic needle.

My plan is to give all these a "workout". I have only ever used aluminum and steel, So I want to see what the difference is

I haven't called yet on replacing it, but from what I hear on some of the crochet groups that I am on, they replace them and sometimes ask for the broken half.
