i don't either but i have a pattern for one that my aunt gave me. i'm crocheting a poncho for myself, no real pattern just making it up as i go along. but my aunt gave me a pattern for a knitted one that actually has 2 patterns for ponchos and one for a tam. thanks for the link though, i want to make one for dd and it would be much easier with a pattern and there are a few there that look good.

I'm trying to find a basic one for Alexandra. I've been looking through the site. Thanks. That site is definitely poncho-rama.

Three years ago I made Aimee a totally cool leopard polar fleece poncho and tam and I trimmed it with black fringe and tiny little silver bells for good luck - she loved it and wore it to school and two other girls said it was stupid - she now will only wear it at home and it was soooo cool - it was just ahead of its time - I have always watched the magazines and made what I saw and have always been ridiculed for coming out with stuff ahead of time... I never cared but evidently Aimee does and won't wear something til everyone else has beaten the idea to death!! oh well...
