knitting purses with fabric
Has anyone tried knitting purses from fabric? I saw this on Carol Duvall's show and am looking for some fabric I like to try it. I also saw kits for these at Hobby Lobby. If anyone has tried it I would like to know how they turned out.

I have several patterns for knitting and crocheting purses with fabric. They turn out okay but you have to be careful not to use too heavy a fabric or they will weigh a ton and stretch too. The hardest part is preparing the fabric strips. If you have a rotary cutter and cutting mat it makes the job a lot easier. Sorry I don't have any done right now or I would post a pic. I will be making some for Christmas presents. I also crocheted a teacosy using fabric strips. There is a pic of it in the Homestead Challenge for August thread.
