Question What is the *easiest* thing to start with (crochet)?

I'd love to find something with just single crochet. I don't want to start out too difficult and get discouraged.

    Thanks

I started with a little square...just for practice and then did a scarf.

Chelle, I started like Sara with getting the chain, then a potholder square thingy & then made a scarf too. You are gonna love this.

I did the same, and so did Daniel, infact he still just does the single chain and is working on an afghan for his bed.

Pot holders are good to start. If you want to do a patchwork type of afghan you could do single crochet squares in different colours.

Placemats are another option or winter headbands.
