Default ? about afgan I think.

I'm curious how long it takes to make a double bed sized afgan. I think it's called an adga. Its with yarn. The reason I ask is a client made on for me. SWhe wouldn' let me pay for it which was the original plan. I'd like to compensate her with free services to use throughout the year. She is a dear dear lady on a very limited budget and I know she would like that.

So can I get a guestimate of how much yarn $ and time.

    thankyou~

I'm not the best one to answer here, but I'll give it a whirl. I won't tell you how long my queen sized afghan took. lol I set it down a lot before completing it.

But, I've made 4 that are single bed sized and they took me about 4-5 days (one week maximum) to complete. Working at night for about 3-4 hrs and about 7 skeins of yarn each.

I guess it really depends since the patterns I did were pretty basic and repetitive and nothing fancy at all. Depending if the pattern was something she was familar with or if it was a new project to her and whether it was something basic or something more elaborate.
