    Default I finished a project!!

    I started this today and actually finished it today too.

    A diaper for my dd.

    100%wool.

    now to figure out how to felt it.

    i will take a picture of her in it tomorrow.

    here is the picture of her wearing it. It fitss pretty good, just loose around the waist and tight around the legs. I will use a smaller hook for the waist and lrger hook next time for the legs.

    Cute! From what I understand, felting shrinks the piece somewhat. I'd like to see when it's done.

    WTG!!!!! very good for you!

    now, I've always wondered, do these diapers absorb? Are they useful to use "instead' of cotton ones? If so, I'd love to learn to make them too..... we're planning to start 'trying' in january.

    it absorbs and insane amount!

    then I felted it and it shrank a TON!! it is now a baby doll diaper. lol

    I am working on one that I koolaid dyed the wool. its a variegated reddish and cream. it'll be really cute when I get the time to finish it!
