What's everybody working on right now?
I'm curious (or maybe nosy) to find out what projects every one has going.
I am still working on a sweater for myself (about half done), some thread crochet projects including one for the FV fundraiser, and a job for the wool store. I am repairing a heritage tablecloth. It has several holes in it. Someone tried to get stains out of it with Oxyclean
and it ate right through the thread. This tablecloth is being repaired as a surprise for a lady that has cancer so I really am trying to do a good job.

I've got a Kureyon scarf, two hats, and a pair of socks in various stages of completion on my knitting needles. I started DD's Easter dress, which is crocheted, this weekend and need to keep working on that as well.

I'm currently working on a depression afghan (using the railroad track pattern).
It's crochet... and I started it last summer what was to be a xmas gift for my BF - but realized he probly wouldnt appreciate it, and with the job I had then I had no time to do anything but sleep & work and when i remembered eat!
so now I'm back to working on the afghan. I'm using up bits & pieces (ergo of the "depression" era)... and am planning on making matching pillows as well.
The colours are mostly jewel tones (and black as a base). So there are amethysts, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, orange topaz... it's gonna be gorgeous... or so I think.
That kinda stuff isnt appreciated in my house (when 2 guys).... they find that too "girly"... oh well... I like my girly projects... and they have to as well... since it keeps 'em warm at night!
*giggle*

I am currently reading a book on knitting and crocheting - does that count? I am still playing around trying to get the feel of the knitting needles and the stitches and I have found my grandmother's crochet hook so that I can play with that too. No projects at all, just learning stitches.

Mostly bookmarks lately- I found a bunch of wonderful patterns online, so I've been making them for gift baskets.
I also have a pineapple afghan I'm making for my cousin's wedding in June. Guess I better make 2 of them, as my nephew just announced his wedding is the week before my cousin's.

I'm working on a granny square afghan. This is for a friend/co-worker who lost her home in a fire only two weeks ago. I haven't had a chance to talk to her - she hasn't been back to work yet. I don't know the extent of what she lost. It's such a big loss - hoping this will bring her a little comfort

two pairs of socks on the way, one made from magic buttons purple flecked sock yarn, the other from my homespun, a lap blanket started 8 months ago and has been decorating my work basket ever since. I know it would only take about another 6-8 hours to complete it entirely (it's crocheted) but I hjust havne't had the motivation. I love starting projects more than finishing them. I have a hat I've just started. It's a rolled brim, black toque with a cream stripe, a teal stripe, and then another cream stripe then black again. I think it will look sharp. All made fromt he homespun. It's bulky (like a very light lopi), and the softest wool I've ever encountered. I have oven mitts i have cut out and not sewn, diapers that I've cut out and not sewn (okay, I fess up, i dont' actually *like* sewing so much). I think that's all. Of course I have a list in my head of stuff that I need to start yet.....
