Ut oh!
I presently have 2 afghans in the works, one is a scrap one out of all my leftovers and the other is one I am trying to create my own pattern for.
I go back and forth working on them. Last night I only got 16 rows done on the scrap afghan. I am really starting to slow down. I usually can do a whole lot more. So it must be my crocheting is coming to and end for the year. lol

i go in cycles. i will be knitting for awhile, then crocheting for awhile, then stamping for awhile, quilting, etc etc.
I picked up a quilting project that i had set down, and i am working on that. i don't know if i will get it done before i get tired of working on it.
i would like to do a baby afghan before next month if i feel up to starting a new project. I need to find a pattern i want to try.~~ Missy ~~

You created a ton of beautiful things this year. I love that pineapple design.
I hope you submit a design one of these days to a publisher. You are really talented.
I know you're a quick crocheter, but 16 rows is a lot to me.

16 rows would be several hours for me, lol. I usually don't even count how many rows I do. If I feel like crocheting then I just sit down with dh in the living room and do it for an hour or even two. I don't seem to have a certain time of year to make something. I like to keep about 3 projects going and then I have the versatility that I need so I don't get bogged down.
So what are you going to work on now?"Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibity."

I am glad I am not the only one who switches from one craft to another. I am in my crocheting prime right now, but I feel a needlepoint jag coming on. Sooner or later I'll get back to scrapbooking and sewing and will get my sewing room straightened out!

CJ, Darlene is right, sewing season is right around the corner for me. lol My hands sweat as it is, but with these hot flashes they are even worse. Every 20 min or so I have to stop and dry my hands off.
Thank you Sara, I hope to submit one soon. I am working on it, but it is in Navy, which is what I had on hand at the time. You can't really 'see' the design well. So I may just make another one in a lighter color first before I submit.
Yes I know 16 rows is a lot for some of you, but I can generally make a full sized afghan in 5-7 days, depending on how intricate the pattern is. You also have to remember ladies, if I don't feel like doing anything all day but crochet, I can. I don't have children other than my bugger babies!
Oh and I did go out today and buy more yarn.
So I just started another afghan, got 3 rows done when Jack said he was all done with the puter, so I got right on here!
So that is 3 afghans in the works, wonder which one I will finish first?
