Finishing projects- what is hiding in your closet!
As part of my spring challenge to myself and getting my house in order I realised that I had accumulated a lot of material and wool to make projects. Problem is that it became a bit obsessive so that every bit of wool I saw as being good value got bought and have ended up with quite a stash. Have sold some on ebay lately and had a swop with other friends who had the same problem. It felt good to part with some things that others might like.
The challenge for me this month is to make a list of the things I want to make and not buy any wool until I have at least finished half of them
So here goes :
1. Finish aran sweater
2. Make quilt for parent's golden wedding anniversary.
3. Socks for next winter ( fun project)
4. Try making plastic shopping bag
5. Black and white coat
6. Finish knitted blanket in denim
That should keep me focussed!
So how about anyone else what are you working on

LOL Rowanberry, you just described me to a 'T'!
Well I still have 2 afghans not completed, they were getting too hot to have on my lap, both are about 3/4 done.
Last night I finished crocheting a doily and found a pattern for the next one.
Sewing?? Haven't done any in quite a while, but the season is about on me here! I have a quilt top about 1/2 done this will be for my sis's bday next month but 1st I have to make her some hats to keep her bald head warm.
I don't put deadlines on myself anymore, everytime I do, I fall through on them. Now when I don't, you may not see me for days! I am lost in my sewing room.

Other than the two projects I am currently working on, I have one crochet project that I started and I don't like so I will frog it and start anew. And I have two rug hooking projects that are started but I don't know when I will get to them.
Good for you that you are setting your self some goals!

Too many to count, if truth be told, on the UFO front. I'm determined to finish a sock and a hat today, though. That will help.
