Is it round? What shape is it and is it in the knifty knitter product line? I'm wondering if it's the same as the round one included in the knifty knitter?

That's great. I'm hoping to test it out this weekend.

Hi Ya'll,
After reading all these posts, I had to go out and get one today - It just sounded like too much fun!
I got mine at the Michael's sale for 9.77 I think it was. They also had the two pattern books for 1.00 each so I got those. I met a lady in the store aisle who said she was giving them as gifts to everyone on her list - neat idea!
The lady at the checkout said they had been selling a ton of the Knifty Knitters too.
I started my first project this evening - I'm making a scarf for Edward - He picked out burgandy yarn for it. I'm almost done, and it is fun and easy! My cat, Maggie Moo, was eyeing the yarn the whole time though - When I left the room for a sec, she was getting in my Michael's bags!
Kim, if it helps...the scarf I'm making is in the pattern book II - I'm leaving off the fringe though so it will be more "manly"...
I'm using the blue loom (smallest), wrapping 12 pegs, just looping the last, and then going back over the same 12 pegs, so you only use half the round. It's turning out okay - rolling up a bit as I think I'm making the stitches a little too tight. Let me know if I can help you out with more info or anything.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!

Hi Kim,
I sure have been busy knitting!
I finished Edward's scarf over the weekend. I also made him a hat with a brim that I finished up last night! I have started today on a scarf as a Christmas gift for my future sis-in-law - I'm using a multicolor yarn, and I think it's gonna be cute!
I am totally hooked on this thing!
Yep, my name is Kimmie too - Nice to "meet" you!
I'm going to try to take a photo to post this week of Edward in his new scarf and hat, which he loves!
Have a great day all!

I got one of these at Michael's for Alex for X Mas. It was $9.99 less my 25% off coupon. Man am I glad I had that thing! She is not a knitter. Do you guys think she will be able to conquer this? I got it because she has wanted to do knittin/crocheting but has a instant gratification problem.
I was hoping this would help her to see a finished project. She is 11 btw. Can't wait to see what she does with it, or even if she likes it

Perfect gift for a 11 yr. old Marcia, she is going to love it. Might take her a few hours to do her first hat, but after that she will get much faster.
