    Default crocheting a gift

    as i posted in the food section , a friend and i are bartering, she is baking my bread,rolls, and candies, and i am making her dgd a quilt, and potholders, well i started crochetting my granddaughters hair ties last night and decided to throw a couple in her bag. so i got 2 sets done, and am still going strong!

    what kind of hair ties are you making? the ones where you crochet around a hair elastic?

    yep, i bought some varigated thread and that is what i am useing, they are so cute, purple and cream, pink and white, then i have yellow and white, and a white. i know they were popular several years ago, hope they are still ok

    i was fiddling around with some yarn and hair eleastics when we went up for dh's grandfather's funeral and his aunt saw me making them and asked for one so there are still folks out there that like them. i bet they will be well received.

    ty i hope so, the girls are only 1,and 3, so maybe it won't matter
